Frequently Asked Questions

About Omni

How does Omni differ from Inox One?

While Inox One is a daily cleaning and anti-fingerprint product, Omni is designed for long-term protection of the surface against atmospheric corrosion and chemicals by leaving a durable protective film. Omni penetrates micro-cracks; Inox One is cleaning-focused.

How deep does its crack penetration go?

Thanks to its low surface tension, it works its way into the finest cracks at the micrometre level, into weld pores and oxidized micro-roughness. This depth makes the protection far more durable compared with conventional surface coatings and prevents the onset of micro-corrosion.

How long does it withstand atmospheric conditions?

It provides effective protection for 6-12 months in enclosed industrial environments and 3-6 months outdoors and in marine/humid environments. The duration varies with the chemical exposure and mechanical wear the surface is subjected to; periodic re-application is recommended.

On which mould surfaces is it used?

It is used on plastic injection moulds, casting moulds, stainless steel forms, sheet-metal forming dies and the surfaces of stored metallic production equipment. It prevents rust that may form during storage and can easily be wiped off before the mould is put back into service.
